The high chromium content allows the 310S stainless steel plates to withstand oxidizing atmospheres up to 2100°F (1149°C). In addition to its corrosion and heat resistance capabilities, it provides excellent low-temperature properties down to -20°F (-29°C ) making it an ideal material for cryogenic applications.
